AIDA NOUR
A native of Alexandria in Egypt Aida Nour is considered among thebest exponents representative of Oriental dance in the world. After participating in the Alexandria Troupe, Aida moved to Cairo to enter the famous Reda Troupe while simultaneously developing hercareer as a solo dancer in the best 5-star hotels and clubs in Cairo. Here she becomes a very popular artist, loved for the beauty ofher dance. Festival of Cairo co-founder, Aida is recognized as one of the most qualified teachers in the purest oriental style requested in all major festivals in the world for her expertise and
ability to transfer her art.



KHALED MAHMOUD
He is an Egyptian dancer and choreographer. He started dancing in Cairo when he was only 7 years old performing during parties and weddings. A few years later he started dancing classical dance. He studied with great masters as Ibrahim Akef and Aida Nour. Now he is a master-class and he organizes performances in many Nile’s cruise ships. He lives in London and he is very appreciated for his musical sensibility and his marvellous choreographies..



LEILA
Model and professional dancer already at the age of 16 years,she beginsher career as oriental dancer in Arabian and Persian clubs ofSeattle-USA, gaining great popularity throughout the West Coast. In 2002 she moved to Cairo where she began his career as a dancer with contracts in the best 5 star hotel as a soloist and in folk groups,where she worked with a large orchestra. Along with hercareer as a model and actress in TV series, films and productions music, as becoming well known in Egypt, Leila is always more and more requested abroad, where she regularly participates as a teacher and performer to the most prestigious festival of Oriental dance (Festival of Cairo, Stockholm, etc..) She produces videos and CDs, and she is much appreciated for her teaching ability, for the grace and elegance that she forwards in her dance.

Choreographer and dancer soloist of Egyptian folklore, modern dance and contemporaneous. He worked in different groups as: “The National Elkawmia Folklore Dance Troupe”, the group of Hassan Afifi, the group of Hamada Hossam El Dinin the company of the Dr. Essmat Yahia, that was the director of the High School of ballet, in the company of Samir Sabry, in the group of Gabi Shiba. During his personal experience he done also video clips, he participated in international and national festivals, he worked for movies, in television programs and in theatres in Egypt and in foreign countries. His purpose is popularize through education and the performances the value of the Egyptian dance.

Born in Tunisia inside the world of dance and oriental music. Her father was among the most important organizers of oriental shows in the 70's in Paris, and Sandra grows up in the arms of the biggest stars of music and dance of the period. In the '80s she moved to Egypt to learn and perfect her technique with the most renowned choreographers such as Samy Abdelhalim, Ibrahim Akef and others. In the 90's, she starts a career as a dancer in Europe, the USA, andMiddle East. She spens two dance schools in Paris and, in 1997, one in Nice. She joins in the biggest international festivals in the world. Very appreciated for teaching, and her high expressive ability in
the art of improvisation.



RONIT MANDEL

Teacher, dancer and choreographer, born in Valencia from israelian parents of Egyptian origin. She dedicates since the early years of her life to art, cultivating her passion for dance and graduating in Mediterranean Folk Dances at an israelian dance school, under the wise guidance of teacher Juky Arkin,recognized in Italy as 3rd level AID&A teacher. Subsequently she also cultivated hrs passion for drawing and painting. In fact, she graduated at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara. As a dancer, Ronit has participated as guest on television shows in Mediaset an then joining theater, her true passion, where she performed with various companies in Gran Guardia Theatre in Livorno, in Municipal Theatre of La Spezia, Lido Theatre of Ostia (RM), Palmaria Theatre of La Spezia, and Guglielmi of Massa. Over the years she has evolved a personal style of oriental dance and a teaching method that she diffuses to her students fromher return to Italy in 1984, following a route from the outlet of consciousness and postural body for making contact with self interiority and ancestral femininity. With the experience acquired over many years of dance, she founded the Academy of Oriental Dance of  La Spezia. professional Aid&A center . In addition to the Academy, at the current state, Ronit also teaches in the La Dialma Ruggiero of La
Spezia, in Lucca, in Sarzana, in Villafranca and Massa.



L’AURA

She’s a Sicilian dancer and choreographer and she danced for twenty years. She is graduated political science. She dances since she was 6 years old and she studied different kind of dance as classical, modern, jazz and contemporary dance. She has a natural predisposition towards ethnic cultures and for this reason she also studied flamenco and belly dance in the best Academies of Spain, France, Egypt and Maghreb to learn languages and traditions. In 2002 she founded the first school of oriental dance and percussions in Brescia (L’Aura Association) thanks to her experience and her collaboration with other dance schools, stages, performances and events. Artistic Director of Oriental Bellydance Palermo Festival, dirigent of Lega Danza UISP, since 2007 she is recognized National Coordinator for Teacher Training Oriental Dance AID&A. Her dance school “L’Aura” is a 4 stars Professional Center with the possibility of issuing AID & A certificates.



SAMRA – EMANUELA CAMOZZI

She begins to study and love Oriental Dance after a longworking visit to Egypt in 1999. She starts early with gymnastics, to approach later ballet, contemporary and jazz dance. Her perseverance and her love for dance, push her for a period to make it a real profession, workingas artistic director in the events area for known tour operators. This experience will be useful to give a touch of refined originality to her choreographies and her performances. Once inside the world of oriental dance, she performs at various regional events and more. Experiencing the world of competitions and contests, she reaches as soloist and with her groups magnificent goals. It's with great joy that in 1998, along with Camilla Lombardi, she founds theESHTA-Oriental Dance Center Association, to promote the study of oriental dance, not only about the technique of dance, but also deepening the roots, history and culture. Participates as teacher at the Festival of Palermo and she is the artistic director of the Festival of Mestre.



ZHANNAT
Born in Kazakhstan, he studied dance since childhood specializing already Young in choreography, dance, ethnic Indian and Arabic folk dances and costumes. Participates in several shows on television Kazakh Russian and in major theaters' s Soviet Union. Arrived in Italy in 1996, first taught ballet at Viareggio and Carrara, then moved to Verona to become artistic director and Chairman 's Association Harmony Dance Academy, specializing in the Vaganova method of classical ballet, character dance, dance Eastern and Middle oreintali and traditional dances' s Eurasia and founded school of dance "Vaganova". She has participated in hundreds of events in northern Italy,  also teaches gymnastics, aerobics and bar on the ground.




SHAHINAZ
Dancer and choreographer for about seventeen years after studying with best teachers specializing in Arabic Raks Sharqi and folk. Her passion for this dance was created by chance.She fascinates for the choreography and the costumes and the particular movements of the body,  that her long and accurate technique allows to do. She organizes, along with the "TAUS CLUB" event BellyDance FESTIVAL IN ROME. Qualified andcertified as a teacher by Raqia Hassan. Achieved by 2006 graduation as dance teacher, tecnical and referee by F.I.P.D.



HUNAIDA
Daniela Russo, aka Hunaida. Dancer and oriental dance teacher, graduated ISDAS-FIDS and ANMB, technical and federal contest FIDS referee. Thanks to the passion and love for dance, transmitted by his parents, both dance teachers, she began studying dance at the tender age of 5 years, exploring various styles, from classical to modern then concentrate with excellent results at competitive gymnastics, participating in national competitions in 1992 in Rome. In adolescential age, se gets to to the study of Oriental dance, that will become her main passion. Her training moves through a long,  practical and theoretical learning path that she deepens with the partecipation in various training courses and internships in Italy and abroad with the national and international best teachers. She has danced for several and major regional and national events, along  with big entertainers . Participate as  oriental dancer in the film by Carlo Verdone "Grande, grosso & Verdone "came out in Italian cinemas in March 2008. Teacher and choreographer in that film for actress Claudia Gerini. She appeared on several television such as RAI, CANALE 5, SKY, and various regional and local networks.



MARCELLA BASSANESI
Marcella Bassanesi, dancer, choreographer and educator, director of Apsaras since 2001, international center for training of the sacred arts of India, founded with the aim of proposing in Italy the most qualified opportunities of research and study of traditional Indian stage production, shows and concerts. Twenty years of experience in studying and practice of educational and artistic disciplines between East and West, give her credit in acknowledged high-profile institutions of India, such as as the Faculty of Performing Arts in Baroda, the Nadabrahma School in Lonavla, Le Soleil d'Or in Paris, with which Apsaras has established a series of intense exchanges.Since 2001 she represents Italy in the Tourism Office of India, in meetings and performance. Since 2005, she widens her artistic research with the outcomes of modern production in India, with the realization of"Bollywood Dance" performance and workshops, spectacular synthesys of the classical, popular and movie choreographic traditions in India. The rigorous training and intensity of expression accrued within the study of sacred indian dance translate the ancient and fascinating theatrical art form in offering to Western audience the spectacular and universal aesthetics richness of Indian culture, whether it submits millennium tradition, whether it declines spectacular modern art solutions. Along with choreographic research, she leads many interdisciplinary work experience, with associations. In 2009 she was called as teacher to the known TV program "Academy", broadcasted on RAI 2.



SAGHERAH
Cristina Piccoli, Cristina Sagheerah in art, dancer and teacher,approaches bellydance at age 15, after a journey of gymnastics and modern dance. . Studies with more influence are American Tribal Style and Tribal Fusion with Rachel Brice, Samantha Hasthorpe, Sharon Kihara, Isabel de Lorenzo, Suhaila Salimpour method and Bikram Yoga. She performs in Italy and abroad in performances,events, festivals, theaters, and in 2008 begins to work with Desert Rose and Al-Kimiya project. Also since 2008 she joins Master Wael Mansour's company and the company of the Magic Ring,  with which organizes shows, stage and events. She decides engage in Tribal Fusion which best fits her personality and dancing method...



ANNA MONTANARI
She is very interested in studying ethnic dancing, probably because of her travels around the world. She started studying flamenco, oriental dance and, finally, Hawaiian and Polynesian dance. She collaborates with Laura Cernigliaro in her school, L’Aura, in Brescia to creates new performances. Her seminaries are dedicated to Hawaiian and Polynesian dance and to oriental-Hindi style mixing Arabian dance with particular Indian movements.



STOLFO FENT

Percussionist of ethnic music in the past she do a course of personal formation, travel in various place to absorb music and culture. She start his career of musicians singing in band as Tremani, Tequila Machine, Tam Tam Africa, Bataxal, E.W.E M'langa, E.W.E Afrobrasil and now he plays oriental and Arabs music with the Tarab. He is an expert of musical sensorial preparatory till 15 years presents in the schools different projects inter- cultural. He do various musical collaborations in the theatre and in live concert. He works as technical of audio and lights in various theatre and performances. He is a compositor of etnic music and World Music and she produced different CD with the independent trademark Ethnoritmo, where the least was produced for didactics purposes on Arabs rhythms. Recently he went in Egypt to do some musical investigations and he had studied the percussions and the nay. Now he is master of percussions and organize stages on Arabs rhythms with the bests schools of dance.

Luisella Cecchinato is a dancer ,teacher and coreografer from Torino,Italy. She studied a classic and a contemporary dance, then she went on Paris ,France and studied at the “ Centre Artistique” with “Zaza Hassan” and with other Internationals teachers..Mahmoud Reda,Saad Ismail,Aida Nour , Sandra Khalun and Wael Mansour. Luisella is diplomated “AIDEA 2 level and is artistic Director “Aicha Dance” since 2002Her style is prevalently Classic Raks Sharqui, Veil ,  cymbals and fans technique .
 

 

 

 

AZIRA IMMAN
Teacher, choreographer and belly dancer. Born in Naples and just in her hometown in 1996, she met and began studying Oriental dance. Joined masterclasses and stages  with teachers of international renown.Since 13 years old, she studied and taught with great enthusiasm the art of Oriental Dance. In addition to interpreting it in its various styles, she loves to introduce into her choreografies steps from other dances by reference to afro movements , taking inspiration from salsa and samba. Through teaching, she  is able to bring theater scene with her students and the group of dancers and professional dancers who side her  for years . Besides being a solo dancer, she is currently the founder of the group "Al Hazade" with which she performs in various events. She participates as a teacher and dancer at the "Oriental Belly Dance Palermo in August 2009 and the" 4th Belly Dance Festival Rome " 2009.

 

 

ENRICA LENA

Since 1999 she has taught at the Oriental Dance A.S.D. The Smile of Hathor (Cremona, Italy) and in several other centers in other cities following simultaneously other national and international teachers to enhance with more styles her wealth of experience. She promotes the divulgation of this feminine ancient and expressive art, participating in festivals and initiatives both as dancer and choreographer of the group "Sahira", which she founded, and formed by his best students.She joins television broadcasts aimed at the understanding of the benefits of this dance both physically and psycho-energetic oriented, taking part in three editions of the show "HEALTH LABORATORY (Telecolor) with topics related to physical wellbeing, Oriental dance and Oriental dance as a female legacy and non-verbal transmission of knowledge. In 2007, she creates a short video introduction the course in this discipline. She appears as personal trainer in reality shoe "Gioco di Coppia" broadcasted on Sky Vivo and collaborates with short articles to the divulgation of dance and its therapeutic aspect in local newspapers. Featuring in the 2008 Oriental Bellydance Festival in Terrasini (Palermo, Italy) as teacher. She is graduate teacher AID&A in Oriental Dance. The style of dance is given by the oldest form of traditional Egyptian.

 

Raqs Shama'dam or dance with Candelabra. It derives from the ancient ritual of marriage where the dancer comes before the spouses with Candelabra on her head. It represents the light and the protection required for spouses.
