ORIENTAL DANCE CONTEST

REGULATION
  

The competition is limited entry.

Will be only accept entries received prior to submitting the form, subject to availability
and in order of arrival (as documented by the date stated on the form).

Choreography of all Middle Eastern styles sharki, baladi, folk, tribal and tribal-fusion, tabla solo,
khaleege, andalusian, maghrebin shaabi, turkish dances, etc..)are allowed

The costume must be in line with the style that you go to represent contamination with other styles
of dance are accepted, but not to exceed 20% of the performance.
 

"Scenographic", mobile and easily transportable elements, not requiring assembly by technicians,
promptly removable at the end of the ballet are accepted.
 

Use of dance accessories (sticks, veils, wings, cymbals, etc..) permitted.
 

Not original choreographies can also be used by participants after notification and authorization
request to authors, (see penalties).
 

Reharsals and lineup will be agreed with the organizers.

SOLOIST SECTION
 
Track of 3:30 minutes mam. length
Partecipation fee: 40 euros
 

 
GROUPS SECTION

 2 to 10 elements
Track of 4:00 minutes mam. length
Teacher are allowed to dance with their students.
Participation fee: 30 euros each participant
 
 
JURY
 
The jury is composed of international master-teacher present at the
Festival: in addition to a representative of the UISP League Dance.
 
 
ELEMENTS OF ASSESSMENT
 
The judges will give a score from 1 to 10, basing their assessment
on the following items: technology, style, Choreograpy,
INTERPRETATION, SYNCronism (for groups),
Choreutic (for groups), use of space, COSTUME.
 
 

MUSIC
 
-The song must be submitted on a CD, single track.
-The song can also be formed by a mix of songs, the important thing is to be placed in one suited CD.
-The CD must be new, good quality and have a label bearing the title,
the name of the dancer / group and order of appearance of the ballet.
-Advertising within the music or the CD, regarding the competitor not allowed.
-Should also be given the title and author of the song to carry SIAE burdens.
-Supply of copy to be submitted in case of emergency and malfunction of your CD.
-Competitors must previously arrange on ways of music performance
(if the music should start before the entrance of the dancer or later ...) and on the lights.
 
 
 
PENALTIES
 
 -Delayed entry on stage -20 points
-Length exceeding music -20 points
-Not suitable to the style dress -15 points
-Advertisements in the CD-10-point,
-Not owned choreography- -20 points
 
 
PRIZES
 
 
1 ° classified: "INCANTO D'ORIENTE"Award: 1 250 euros scholarship
+ free participation in a full day of seminars at
Festival Mestre Heshko Beshk + the opportunity to dance own
choreography in the final evening "CLOSING SHOW" with international stars!
 
2 ° classified: 2 free seminars in the next edition of
Festival Incanto d 'Oriente 2011 + 1 spa treatment offered by Hammami 
 
3 ° classified: 1 free seminars in the next edition of
Festival Incanto d 'Oriente 2011 + 1 spa treatment offered by Hammami
 
Furthermore, the Top 3 will receive a certificate of recognition  
signed by the master teachers present at the Festival.
 
From 4 th place in all then be considered of equal merit  
(final standings are available for participants).
 
The winner can be either a soloist or a group
 
OUT OF COMPETITION ENTRIES:
 
It is possible to attend a dance in the same way the of
contest (music and shares), but out of the competition.
Participants will receive a certificate of participation at the evening.
